EveryDesk is backed up by a wide variety of services, from basic support to customization and tailoring.While providing basic support and answers for free to all our adopters, we have designed a wide range of ancillary services for both “horizontal” adopters and vertical market, like the medical and school environments. Support and email/forum assistance is free for all users, including commercial ones.

EveryDesk services: we can provide customization and specific support for large scale deployments, integration with legacy and proprietary software tools, training and post-installation support. Our staff covers all of Europe, and we are creating additional cooperation agreements with leading support organization overseas to provide worldwide coverage.

Medical environments: Other than installation and configuration support, The EveryDesk/MED medical edition can optionally use our SafeLog log compliance and archival system, that provides a digital signature-baseed log verification service to guarantee compliance with EU privacy laws. The SafeLog system guarantees that all EveryDesk/MED client logs are not modified and are preserved in their integrity, complying with the strictest privacy law for medical, health care and law enforcement operators.

OEMs and PC distributors: We can provide custom-made images for OEMs for distribution with PCs and for large scale deployment, including the integration of proprietary software and custom-made modules. EveryDesk customers receive a personal login for our support site, that includes bug and feature request tracking, image download, specific documentation and support forums; OEM customers can request support for all their customers as well, for total peace of mind. With this option, a separate support site (branded with the OEM image) provide full email/forum support backed by our engineers.

Governance and additional OSS usage: Our company can provide services for all the OSS adoption lifetime, like OSS governance (including adoption and migration support), software selection and training. We also provide intensive, one day workshops: our one-day introduction to Open Source provides a single-day, full immersion experience that covers all the relevant aspects of open source software from an adoption/migration point of view – legal, technical, managerial and operational. Aspects like quality and quality evaluation, software selection, best practices and real-world experiences are integrated in 6 hours of one-to-one training and knowledge transfer. Among the arguments covered:

The course plan is designed to provide a hands-on, complete and objective overview of OSS, the best way to introduce it within Public Administrations and enterprises, and what are the risks and reward that can be expected in a successful project completion. The workshop can host from 5 to 20 people, and includes a personalized section adapted for each customer’s needs.
